In April, leading players in the CEE automotive industry will discuss the prospects for the development of the automotive industry at CEEAUTO - 2024

The 8th Automotive Forum of Central Eastern Europe will take place in Budapest on the 10-11th of April. The Crowne Plaza Budapest Hotel was chosen as the venue for the event.

 

CEE Automotive Forum brings together more than 100 of the largest companies and brands that provide the supply chain for the automotive market. Among the regular participants of the Forum are Hyundai, Aston Martin, Continental, Volvo, KIA, Porsche, PSA Europe, Fiat, Bosch, Land Rover, VAG and others.

 

Experts will present analytics on the development strategy of the region’s automotive market. They will discuss tools and opportunities for increasing efficiency, development trends in OEM companies, cost reduction, and other tools to improve production efficiency.

 

In addition, experts will talk about problems in the production of wired batteries and will touch upon issues of cybersecurity and data privacy in software-controlled cars. Investment planning initiatives in the field of green technologies and sustainable development will be discussed.

 

All forum participants are decision-makers from leading companies in the industry. A quarter of the audience are managing partners, general directors of companies (25%), and sales directors (15%). Most of the guests manage procurement in large companies in the automotive sector; they evaluate the forum as a platform for finding reliable suppliers.

 

Among the speakers at CEE Automotive Forum - 2024 are recognized experts and representatives of successful brands who come to share their experiences with colleagues, talk about the company’s successful practices, and clarify controversial issues for the market.

 

The event will open with an analytical session where strategies and trends in the development of the automotive industry in Eastern European countries will be discussed. The moderator will be ALEKSANDAR MEDJEDOVIC, Senior Expert, member of the World Bank Group, International Finance Corporation. Among speakers - TATIANA HRISTOVA, Director, EMEA Vehicle Demand Forecasts, S&P Global.

 

In the session dedicated to the sustainable development of OEM companies, SZABOLCS KARASZEK, Director of Quality, BorgWarner Inc., and LASZLO THIERRY, Managing Director, ElringKlinger Hungary Kft will present their presentations. During the debate about crafting a sustainable supply chain in the CEE automotive market, CHARLES WASSEN, General Manager Hungary, Leading OneDana Campus, Dana Incorporated, will present his point of view.

 

As part of the labor market, the CEE automotive industry session will share their experience with SASHA CIORINGA, General Manager, Continental Automotive Serbia, and IGOR FRANCEK, Director of People Operations for Slovakia, Jaguar Land Rover.

 

As part of the event will be organized a series of B2B meetings with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity to lay the foundation for long-term productive partnerships and establish business connections for business development in the region. Participants will have the opportunity to schedule appointments in advance through the online booking platform. Access will open to all registered participants 2 weeks before the start of the forum.
